How do the CCPs support other accreditation models and assessments?

In the current market, carbon-crediting programs, accreditation models and assessments set different standards, and while they each have high-quality elements they are difficult to compare. We have built a widespread consensus around our Core Carbon Principles (CCPs), which set a consistent and comparable benchmark that will enable buyers to identify high-integrity credits in today’s market. They do not replace existing standards or assessments, nor do they prevent them going further.
